Mission Statement

Inclusion in Art focuses on diversity within the visual arts and is dedicated to overcoming barriers that keep minority artists from contributing to our artistic landscape. Inclusion In Art is also dedicated to overcoming barriers that keep some communities from experiencing the arts. Bringing the arts to a community can be important to its economic and cultural development. Studies show that communities who have some kind of involvement in the arts grow and establish a positive creative identity. Whether the barrier is a lack of communication or a lack of awareness, Inclusion in Art is dedicated to bridging the divides.

By partnering with organizations such as OVAC (Oklahoma Visual Arts Coalition) and IAO (Individual Artists of Oklahoma), we are working together to bring   people of all ethnically diverse backgrounds together.
